In 2016, Melanie established M3E Consultants to meet the needs of industry and the public sector for quality, affordable hydrogeological services.  

Melanie is a professional hydrogeologist (P.Geol./P.Geo.) with over 15 years of experience in groundwater exploration and management, hydrogeologic conceptualization, aquifer impact assessments and groundwater-surface water interactions.

She is passionate about the future sustainability of clean water for rural and developing communities, as shown most recently with her commitment to water aid work with Groundwater Relief (formerly Hydrogeologists Without Borders) and Energy for All, a non-profit organization committed to both the sustainability and accessibility of clean drinking water

On the weekends she enjoys coaching and riding her mountain or gravel bikes, training for triathlons and spending time outdoors with her family. 
Hydrogeological Experience
Melanie has worked as a professional hydrogeologist for over 15 years and is currently registered in AB and BC (Canada). 
International Experience
Melanie has worked on projects in over 20 countries worldwide and has lived in Canada, the UAE, Australia and the USA.
Humanitarian Development
Melanie is committed to developing clean drinking water throughout the world and has worked with a number of non-profit organizations throughout the years.
